Thanks to their optimal flavour, structure, and popularity, we exclusively select Hass avocados. They have a deliciously nutty and oily flavour and have an irresistibly creamy texture. We have extremely high standards when it comes to the quality of our products. Therefore, we carry out extra quality checks to make sure that only the very best products reach you.
To achieve the perfect level of ripeness, we always measure the firmness of the avocados using a penetrometer. This way, we know exactly how ripe the fruit is. The less pressure required, the softer the fruit. In this way, we look beyond colour when selecting our avocados.
We have three ripening programmes, each with a different level of firmness. * Based on the sales requirement, we determine which pressure suits the specific wishes of our customers best. Whether it is a wholesaler, sushi restaurant or catering supplier. Thanks to our broad customer base in the Benelux region, we know exactly which firmness is right for which purpose.
*The stages of ripeness are indicative, as not every avocado will have the same firmness. To maximize the shelf life of avocados, they should be refrigerated immediately after delivery!
